Miniature Galloways and Belted Galloways are well known for their docility and are easy to handle and care for. They are also known for their longevity, hardiness and disease resistance. Cattle should have access to clean, fresh water, pasture grasses and good-quality hay. They will withstand extreme weather conditions, however would benefit from shelter and shade to keep them more comfortable.

The carcase of the Galloway is of excellent quality, with high yields. Miniature Galloways and Belted Galloways tend to fatten from the ‘inside out’ which produces a unique marbling pattern. They have gained much success in carcase competition trials.

Since the inception of our stud we have pursued in achieving cattle that are potential show winners. We have done this by following a careful selection criteria from our own breeding programs and external purchases. Our aim is that cattle have: good temperament, produce good quality calves and balance in structure.
